Kewra water is a fragrant and flavored water made by steeping the leaves of the Pandanus tectorius plant, commonly known as kewra or screwpine, in water. It has a distinctive, sweet and slightly floral aroma, and is traditionally used in Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine to add flavor and fragrance to various dishes, such as desserts, drinks, and savory dishes.
